A Cajun Thanksgiving
November 6-9 and 13-17, 2017 | 9:15am and 11:00am
In keeping with its vision to "EXPAND THE ARTS and ENHANCE THE EXPERIENCE", the Playhouse expanded its programming in February, 2017 to include an annual field trip production for PreK-4th grade students from Lafourche, Terrebonne, and Assumption Parish public and private schools.
Thanks to the cooperation of the National Park Service and Pelican Publishing Company, Thibodaux Playhouse will present A Cajun Thanksgiving, a theatrical adaptation of Alice Couvillon and Elizabeth Moore’s Evangeline for Children that introduces students to the struggles of the wandering Acadian people while shedding light on the history of this relatively unknown culture.
